Before starting any all-steel structure project It is very important to pick the appropriate sized structure to fulfill your needs. This process starts with the steel structure’s height.

There are two issues that should be thought about for a steel building’s height. Assessed on the outside the overall height of the building comes first. All internal clearance necessary is the next issue. Remember, the inner height is usually more of a determinant to any layout considerations. Get in contact with your building regulation or zoning offices - the overall maximum height of your pre-engineered steel structure can be determined by your local zoning regulations. A lot of steel buildings only call for 10′ of clearance internally. The 10 yards of internal clearance that a steel structure is capable of containing is ample for most distribution center storage requirements, large vehicle space, or the clearance required for many sizes of aircraft.
